Zombie Outbreak!

After a long break from game development due to major personal and professional shifts, I decided to get back into the field to create a fun, local-multiplayer action game. Using free assets from the Unity Asset Store and OpenGameArt, I created a small prototype within thirty days.

If you wish to download the project, here is the Google Drive link: Google Drive (~150MB)

Click “Download All” in the top-right, view the README, then launch the .exe file.

Paragon Stories

In 2018, I discovered that Epic Games released over $13M worth of assets for free due to their MOBA game (Paragon) flopping. I saw this as an amazing opportunity to work with AAA quality models and assets, and decided to learn the Unreal Engine. Starting in mid January (2019), I began development of “Paragon Stories,” an Action game using the Paragon assets. Check out my developer blog above to view my progress.

Status: Abandoned

Takeaways: The Unreal Engine is a neat piece of software. The asset store provides many high-quality assets and tools to craft superb games. However, due to personal and professional changes, I had to abandon the game to focus on transitioning my life post-graduation.

Murta: A Modern RPG

Murta is an adventure RPG that takes place in a fictional city based on real-world Atlanta. The player controls a young Black-American male who was the victim of a driveby shooting while he was spending time with his friends. He was the only one to survive the altercation. Now, fueled with revenge, the player must find and bring his friends’ killer to justice.

Murta is no longer under development. You can download the final build of the game on the game’s website: Murta Blog

100 TAPS: Don’t Drop The Ball

100 TAPS is a simple game where the player must tap on a ball to keep it from falling. Each tap increases the player’s score, but once the ball drops to the floor, it’s game over. There are four levels with a score requirement to complete. Completing a level will unlock a new color scheme for players to use while playing the game. After completing the last level, the player will unlock Endless Mode, where the player continuously plays until the ball drops. In Endless Mode, they can save their high score and try to improve with each run. 100TAPS is currently available on the Google Play Store for Android users:  Google Play Page
